A little over a year ago, we were asked a big question: How might we support teen mental health through a Roblox experience?  It was a challenge we knew demanded more than just a good idea – it required a deep, thoughtful, and well-crafted approach. More importantly, it was an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people navigating an unprecedented mental health crisis.

Today, after countless hours of collaboration with mental health experts, world designers, and creative partners, we’re incredibly proud to introduce  Love, Your Mind World  on Roblox – a first-of-its-kind nonprofit initiative that makes learning about emotional well-being interactive, engaging, and accessible.

A Digital Space for Mental Wellness

With 76% of U.S.  people under 18 playing video games, we knew meeting them where they already are – inside immersive digital worlds – could make engaging them in the topic of mental health more natural and impactful. Research from the Roblox Research Panel reinforced this:  while 72% of teens acknowledge the importance of taking care of their mental health, more than half feel they don’t have a strong grasp of how to do it.

That’s where Love, Your Mind Worldcomes in. This experience is designed as a safe and uplifting space where teens can explore mental wellness strategies through play, storytelling, and experiential learning. And with today’s launch of the third and final “obby” (obstacle course), the full experience is now live – ready to help teens build emotional resilience in an engaging and meaningful way.

Three Interactive Zones for Mental Wellness

Each area within Love, Your Mind World is built around a key aspect of mental health, transforming expert-backed strategies into immersive, hands-on gameplay:

Friendship Forest – Focuses on the importance of connection and seeking help from others.
Mindfulness Mountain – Teaches stress management tips and techniques through guided activities.
Labyrinth of Light – Helps players overcome self-doubt and build emotional resilience.

By completing quests, players unlock exclusive UGC (user-generated content) wearables created in partnership with e.l.f. Beauty, Headspace, Pacsun, and Walmart, reinforcing positive behaviors in a way that feels rewarding and engaging.

Expert-Guided Support in a Safe Space

Beyond gameplay, Love, Your Mind World is packed with additional resources to help young people develop healthy habits:

Guided meditations from Headspace, led by expert teachers Eve Lewis Prieto and Dora Kamau.
Safety-first design, with chat features disabled and usernames anonymized during gameplay for a secure experience.
Real-world coping strategies, from breathing exercises to gratitude practices, seamlessly woven into the gameplay.

A Movement to Normalize Mental Health Conversations

This initiative is part of the broader “Love, Your Mind” campaign from the Ad Council, and has already driven over 1.4 million visits to free mental health resources at LoveYourMindToday.org. With the launch of Love, Your Mind World, we’re reaching a new audience – teens – by transforming mental health education into something interactive, engaging, and truly built for the digital-native generation.

At its core, this project is a testament to what’s possible when gaming, creativity, and purpose come together. It’s a labor of love made possible by the passion and collaboration of so many, including the teams at  the Ad Council, dentsu, and The Gang – as well as our incredible brand partners who believe in this mission.

Explore Love, Your Mind World now  (available to U.S. Roblox users ages 13 and over) and be part of a movement that’s helping young people navigate life’s challenges with confidence, connection, and resilience.
